Stay True to Your Process

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed my photos look a little different recently. I want to tell you why!
The process of figuring out my most genuine way of sharing my life with you guys has been so fun, but, suuuuper stressful. There’s so much pressure on likes, comments, and engagement that I started sharing what I thought would do well, not necessarily what brings me joy. The process became trying and I had to take a step back and think about how I want to convey myself on the internet.
The original purpose of creating a blog was to explore my creativity and I got caught up in trying to keep up with everybody else. I got so lost trying to pump out content that I lost sight of the fun part in it for me- taking the time to get creative.

This is what I want you to gather from my presence on the internet-
In conjunction with my daily life, I want you guys to know that I’m an athlete turned self-proclaimed creative. That I love to write, am podcast obsessed, and get hype for personal development. That I struggle with bouts of depression and anxiety and rely a whole lot on Jesus. That I’m super silly, I love my people and am always exploring where I’m planted. That what you see is what you get, and I’ll always keep it real. That I’m a lover, a dreamer, and have a huge heart for kids. That I’m newly obsessed with health and wellness and Arbonne products are my go-to’s. That my head is often in the clouds and I’ll convince anyone they can do anything.

I lost sight for a moment, but, my nights spent brainstorming, planning and inspo-gathering are some of my most favorites. I will say, the best parts of my life don’t always make it to the internet. But, I’m committed to expressing a little bit more of my creativity & hopefully, the rest will fall into place. Why am I committed to it? Because it brings me joy. I love storytelling and I’m hoping mine will bring you joy, make you smile, & maybe even inspire you to get creative yourself.

So, even if it takes me a little more time to create content sometimes, I’m going to spend it. There’s so much joy to be found in my creative process.
Thanks for sticking with me, and I hope you enjoy some of these new vibes as much as I do.
